The Clinical Coordinator employs intellectual, interpersonal and technical skills through the utilization of the nursing process to assist patients in achieving maximum health potential. The Clinical Coordinator functions as a health team member through independent, interdependent and dependent roles within the health care system. Serving as the patient’s advocate, the Clinical Coordinator assumes responsibility and accountability for nursing care for patients of various ages as defined by the department scope of service. Under the general supervision of the Department Director or Nurse Manager, the Clinical Coordinator supervises the nursing care for a given shift for a specific department. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for insuring the implementation of the medical plan of care, adherence to SJHS-HC policies and compliance to established standards of care/practice.

Requirements
Graduate of an accredited nursing school. BSN preferred.
CNOR; 5+ years OR experience; can scrub and circulate.
